Leslie A. Johnson Center

This center is named after the late Leslie A. Johnson, a former Executive Director and dedicated long term employee and advocate for Wilmington Head Start Inc. It is the largest Wilmington Head Start center with 9 classrooms and a capacity for 152 children. This center serves the Northeastern section of Wilmington and two small areas in the Western/Southwestern part of the city. Bus service is provided.

         Wilmington Head Start participates in the Delaware Stars rating program. The Leslie A. Johnson Center maintains a Star Level 5 rating.
