Welcome to Wilmington Head Start!

We are a premier preschool program serving children and their families in the City of Wilmington for over 30 years.  Our mission is to equip these children to be prepared for kindergarten and become successful students. We accomplish this through evidence based curriculum and the provision of supportive services to ensure their education, health, nutrition and social services  needs.

Our focus is the support and engagement of the whole family. We provide opportunities for both parents to be active and valuable participants in their child’s experience at Wilmington Head Start.
